Exciting Contest News

Whenever I enter a contest, I have no illusions of winning. With so many wonderful authors out there, I have trouble believing I'm at the same level as they are. I think most authors feel that way. We have an innate feeling of inadequacy every time we start a book, finish a book, and publish a book.

So, I'm always genuinely surprised and excited when I win or even place in a contest.

One of the contests was The Critter's Workshop, Preditor and Editor Poll. I didn't actually enter it, but had several books nominated, which is always thrilling to think someone likes my books enough to say "Vote for her books."

The contest closed on the 14th, and the final tally was posted on the 16th. If you don't already know, I also write erotic romance under my pen name, Anita Kidesu. Surprise Me Again took first place and my publisher for Anita took first place for publishers. A Photograph of Love took third in the Best Book cover category, and Missing My Heart took seventh in the Mystery category. I'm pretty pumped.
